IB Quant Full Stack UI Developer

As an IB Quant Full Stack UI Developer at Barclays, you will take on the role of the lead UI Developer, guiding junior UI developers in India. Your primary focus will be on developing the custom-built in-house Banking Data Platform for Barclays IB front office employees. This includes creating an enterprise-grade scalable user interface for applications like Deal Analytics, ECC memo, and Sentiment Analysis. Moreover, you will be involved in assisting support teams in resolving intricate technical issues efficiently. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with a focus on technology. - Proficiency in UI technologies such as React JS and AngularJS. - Experience in Full stack application development. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong Web UI experience including HTML and Advanced CSS. - Familiarity with building and integrating with Rest APIs. **Desirable Skillsets/Good to have:** - Good knowledge of various JavaScript frameworks like ReachJS, AngularJS, jQuery, BackboneJS, Foundation. - Familiarity with Agile development methodology. - Understanding of software design patterns. - Experience in Mobile development with the ability to diagnose problems quickly and independently. - Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new technologies and applications are essential. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing analytics and modeling solutions for complex business problems using domain expertise. - Collaborating with technology to specify dependencies required for analytical solutions. - Developing high-performing, comprehensively documented analytics and modeling solutions. - Implementing analytics and models in accurate, stable, well-tested software and operationalizing them. - Providing ongoing support for the continued effectiveness of analytics and modeling solutions to users. - Ensuring conformance to all Barclays Enterprise Risk Management Policies, particularly Model Risk Policy. - Undertaking all development activities within the defined control environment. **Purpose of the role:** The purpose of this role is to design, develop, implement, and support mathematical, statistical, and machine learning models and analytics used in business decision-making. This position will be based out of Noida.
