Description
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Hydroponic Agronomist to join our team and oversee the cultivation and management of crops in our hydroponic systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agronomy, plant science, or a related field, with hands-on experience in hydroponic farming methods. You will play a key role in optimizing plant health, maximizing yields, and maintaining sustainable farming practices. Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and monitor hydroponic crop management plans.Select appropriate crops and nutrients based on environmental and market factors.Monitor plant health and diagnose issues related to diseases, pests, or nutrient deficiencies.Maintain and adjust nutrient levels, pH, electrical conductivity (EC), and other environmental parameters.Analyze data from sensors, software, and manual checks to optimize growing conditions.Train staff or farm workers on hydroponic best practices and standard operating procedures.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and agricultural standards.Keep accurate records of crop cycles, input usage, and harvest data. Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s in Agronomy, Horticulture, Agriculture Science, or a related field.Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in hydroponic or soilless cultivation systems.Strong understanding of nutrient management, plant physiology, and pest control.Familiarity with hydroponic systems.Proficient in data analysis and the use of farm management software.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
