As a Lab Instructor (Medical) in the Medical/Allied Sciences department, you will play a crucial role in assisting laboratory sessions, maintaining lab equipment, ensuring safety standards, and supporting students during practical classes in medical and allied health sciences. Your responsibilities will include preparing the laboratory for practical sessions, demonstrating experiments, assisting students during lab work, maintaining inventory of lab equipment, tools, and chemicals, ensuring proper sanitization and safety protocols, reporting damaged or malfunctioning equipment, maintaining lab records, attendance, and assessment sheets, supporting faculty in research or minor project guidance, and coordinating with the academic department for smooth lab operations. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum qualification of a B.Sc. in Medical Sciences or equivalent from a recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates with prior lab handling or instructional experience. Basic understanding of human biology, microbiology, and general medical sciences is essential. Strong organizational and communication skills, familiarity with laboratory safety standards, and the ability to handle and maintain scientific equipment are also required.
