Experience: o 5+ years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or cloud administration o 3+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks in a production environment o Proven expertise in Databricks administration and platform management o Knowledge of enterprise security models, IAM, and RBAC • Technical Skills: o Databricks workspace setup, cluster policies, job orchestration, Unity Catalog, cost optimization o Python, PySpark, Bash, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates) o Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory experience o Experience connecting Databricks with Snowflake, Fabric, and on-prem systems o Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines o Experience using log analytics, Databricks REST APIs, and other monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor) o Databricks security and governance including role-based access, encryption, and compliance best practices • Soft Skills: o Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment o Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high data quality and reliability o Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications • Certifications: Databricks Administration certification
