About DCS

Daruwalla Consultancy Services LLP is a Mumbai recruitment and staffing firm, headquartered in Fort and certified as a Great Place to Work in 2025. We hire for IT, Non-IT, Maritime, Satcom, BFSI and facility management clients, and we are building toward a much larger firm. You will work directly with the leadership team, not behind layers of management.

Role summary

We need a Senior Recruiter who owns a hiring desk from start to finish: understanding the client's need, sourcing and screening candidates, managing offers, and closing joinings. You will deliver quality profiles fast, build client trust, and mentor junior recruiters while doing it.

Key responsibilities

End-to-end recruitment

• Take job briefs from clients and convert them into clear search plans, role scorecards and timelines.
• Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, databases, referrals, social media and your own network.
• Screen by phone and video: skills, experience, salary expectations, notice period and genuine interest.
• Shortlist and submit well-prepared, accurate profiles with a short note on why each one fits.
• Coordinate interviews, collect feedback quickly and keep candidates informed at every step.
• Negotiate offers, reduce drop-offs, and follow up until the candidate has joined.

Client and relationship management

• Be the day-to-day point of contact for assigned clients and hiring managers.
• Give regular status updates on open roles, pipeline health and market feedback.
• Advise clients on salary benchmarks, talent availability and realistic hiring timelines.
• Support the leadership team in winning new mandates and growing existing accounts.

Team and process

• Guide, train and review the work of junior recruiters and telecallers.
• Keep the ATS updated daily with accurate candidate and requirement data.
• Maintain a strong talent pool for repeat roles, especially in Maritime, Satcom and BFSI.
• Follow DCS standards for candidate consent, confidentiality and background verification.
• Share weekly numbers with the Director / Chief of Staff.

Requirements

Must have

• Graduate in any stream; an MBA or HR qualification is a plus.
• 5 to 10 years of recruitment experience, with at least 3 years in a staffing or consulting firm.
• Proven record of closing mid to senior level positions on your own.
• Strong sourcing skills on Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Boolean search.
• Comfortable handling client calls and managing hiring managers.
• Fluent English and Hindi; Marathi is a plus.

Good to have

• Experience hiring in Maritime, Satcom, BFSI or IT leadership roles.
• Experience working with an ATS and recruitment dashboards.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring a small team.
• Existing network of candidates or client contacts in Mumbai.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
