Job Description

Clean patient rooms, including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming, ensuring a sterile environment. Disinfect surfaces such as beds, countertops, sinks, chairs, and medical equipment in patient rooms. Change bed linens and make beds according to hospital protocols. Replenish towels, soap, and other hygiene supplies, ensuring that patient rooms are fully stocked. Follow strict infection control procedures when handling cleaning materials, patient waste, and linens. Use appropriate disinfectants, cleaning agents, and equipment that comply with hospital safety and sanitation standards. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and gowns when necessary to maintain a safe environment. Adhere to hospital infection control policies, including maintaining the sterile field in sensitive areas (e.g., surgical rooms).
