Junior Fashion Designer & Sales Assistant House of Yara | Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu Full-Time | Immediate Joiners Preferred Salary: ₹12,000 - ₹15,000 per month (Based on Experience) About House of Yara: House of Yara is a premium boutique in Tiruppur, seeking a creative and organized team member to join our small, dynamic team and help with in-house design projects while ensuring smooth operations. Role Overview: We are looking for a talented Junior Fashion Designer & Sales Assistant to focus on innovative kids' apparel design and merchandising during low-traffic hours, while handling boutique operations as needed. With a few customers per week, this role offers the perfect balance of creative freedom and light retail duties—ideal for someone passionate about children's fashion! Key Responsibilities: Fashion Design & Merchandising (Primary Focus - 60% Time): - Create original sketches and technical flats for kids' wear collections (dresses, tops, bottoms, apparels). - Develop patterns, prototypes, and garment specifications using hand sketching or software (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop). - Assist in trend research, fabric selection (cotton, blends, prints), and merchandising planning for kids' seasonal collections. - Maintain design archives, mood boards, and a creative workflow to support inventory development. Sales Assistant Duties (Secondary - 40% Time): - Greet customers, provide personalized styling advice, and assist with fittings. - Handle billing, inventory tracking, and basic shop maintenance using simple POS software. - Ensure the boutique is visually appealing with window displays and stock organization. What We're Looking For Must-Have Skills: - Diploma/Bachelor's in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field. - 0-2 years of experience in fashion sketching, pattern-making, or garment construction. - Basic proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design tools. - Understanding of kids' wear fabrics, sizing (2-12 years), prints. Nice-to-Have Skills: - Retail experience or customer service skills (training provided). - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Requirements : - Age: 20-28 years. - Available for full-time ( 10 AM - 7PM , Monday to Sunday with Wednesdays off). - Based in Tiruppur or willing to relocate.
