Front Office Associate Department : Front Office / Guest Services Industry : Hospitality (Hotels & Resorts) Reports To : Front Office Manager / Duty Manager Job Summary The Front Office Associate is responsible for providing excellent guest service and ensuring a smooth check-in/check-out experience. This role acts as the first point of contact for guests, delivering warm hospitality, managing reservations, and handling guest requests efficiently and professionally. Key Responsibilities: Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanour. Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using the hotel’s PMS (Property Management System). Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and courteously. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel policies, room rates, packages, promotions, and local attractions. Ensure accurate guest billing and payment transactions. Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely room readiness. Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications in the system. Answer phone calls and handle email communications related to guest services. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area. Prepare daily reports and handovers for upcoming shifts. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or related field preferred. 1–3 years of experience in a front desk or customer service role in the hospitality industry. Proficiency in hotel management software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good command of English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus. Pleasant personality with a guest-oriented attitude. Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays. The primary responsibility is to drive business by targeting corporate clients, travel agencies, wedding planners, and individual customers for room bookings, events, and other resort services. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and markets (corporate, leisure, MICE, weddings).
