Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and manage a wide range of infectious diseases including TB, HIV, dengue, sepsis, and hospital-acquired infections. Provide inpatient and ICU consultations for complex infectious cases. Guide antimicrobial therapy and lead antimicrobial stewardship programs. Supervise and participate in infection control and epidemiological surveillance . Collaborate with departments like microbiology, critical care, internal medicine, oncology, and transplant units. Evaluate and treat fever of unknown origin (FUO) and travel-related illnesses. Monitor and manage drug-resistant organisms and advise on outbreak containment. Key Skills: Infectious disease diagnosis and management Antimicrobial stewardship & infection control Sepsis and multidrug-resistant infection handling Interpretation of microbiological and serological tests HIV, TB, tropical and travel medicine Collaboration with ICU and high-dependency teams Familiarity with EMR, NABH/JCI infection control standards
