Job Title: Safety Officer Reports To: Safety Manager / Project Manager Location: balewadi, pune Job Summary: The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment on-site by implementing health and safety policies, conducting regular inspections, and promoting a culture of safety awareness among all employees. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of equipment, work areas, and practices. Investigate accidents and incidents to identify causes and recommend corrective actions. Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to employees and subcontractors. Maintain records of safety-related incidents, inspections, and training. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to ensure safe work methods. Ensure all workers have appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Review and update safety policies and procedures as needed. Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies regarding safety compliance. Requirements: ADIS advance diploma in industrial safety with MSBTE certification Certification in safety (e.g., NEBOSH, prefered 2–5 years of experience in a safety role, preferably in construction Strong knowledge of local health and safety laws and regulations. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Attention to detail and good problem-solving abilities. Working Conditions: Work is performed on construction sites and in office environments. May require travel between project locations. Must be available for emergency response when necessary.
