History & Civic High School Teacher - BTM

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable History & Civics Teacher for high school who can make social sciences meaningful and engaging. The ideal candidate should inspire students to understand historical events, democratic values, and civic responsibilities, while connecting lessons to real-world issues and current affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in History and Civics as per the school’s curriculum.
• Use storytelling, visual aids, projects, and role-plays to make topics relevant and interesting.
• Foster critical thinking, debate, and inquiry-based learning among students.
• Integrate current events and real-world examples to explain civic concepts and governance.
• Assess student understanding through tests, assignments, and creative assessments like presentations and group work.
• Organize activities such as mock parliaments, Constitution Day, heritage walks, or historical exhibitions.
• Encourage respectful discussion of diverse perspectives and promote democratic values in class.
• Maintain a well-organized classroom environment that supports meaningful discussions and learning.
• Collaborate with peers to integrate interdisciplinary learning and school-wide value initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with parents and participate in PTMs and school events.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹31,000.00 per month
