Physics Teacher – [Edify School Kanakapura], [Karnataka]

[School Name] is looking for a qualified and dedicated Physics Teacher to teach and support students at the secondary level. The role includes planning lessons, delivering classroom instruction, assessing student progress, and contributing to the academic environment of the school.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Physics lessons as per the curriculum and grade level.
• Create lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.
• Explain scientific concepts through demonstrations, activities, and practical sessions.
• Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records.
• Provide support and guidance to students to improve learning outcomes.
• Manage classroom activities and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Master's Degree in Physics or a related field (B.Ed preferred).
• Teaching experience in Physics at the middle or secondary level is an advantage.
• Strong subject knowledge and effective communication skills.
• Ability to engage students and use appropriate teaching strategies.
• Basic computer skills for lesson planning and record maintenance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the academic team.
