Job Description

Your responsibilities will include:

Maintain and enhance the data platform to power CBs suite of products.

Analyze, design database and implement solutions for given problems

Build a new Tabular and Power BI model to integrate into CB Products.

Enhance existing backend data platforms to deliver new business requirements.

Maintain existing database and reporting solutions across the full SQL Server suite.

Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to understand and support project requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

SQL Server background 10+ years Experience

Essential to have strong SQL Server skills (ideally on SQL 2016+).

Expert understanding of T-SQL including database schema design, views, stored procedures

Performance tuning and index optimization experience.

Knowledge of SQL Server In-Memory OLTP infrastructure.

SQL Server Data Tools

Solid experience modeling, designing, and deploying database solutions using Microsofts SQL Server Data Tools.

SSIS/SSRS

Strong Understanding of SSIS and SSRS concepts and flows (SQL 2012 or upwards).

Data Modelling

Strong Understanding of data warehousing models (Inmon and Kimball).

Previous exposure to BI solutions.

Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure)

Working experience in designing solutions along with mid and front-end developers

Experience working with Git, Jira, and SQL Sentry tool

Experience with Visual Studio or similar IDEs

Secure and efficient coding practices.

Good analytical skills.

A good understanding of financial markets will be beneficial.

Excellent troubleshooting and strong communication skills

Understanding of Agile methodologies

Collaborative and pragmatic with great communication skills
