Optimize database performance, queries, and provide DB team support.
Manage day-to-day operations of Microsoft SQL Server estate. Lead migration from SQL Server to PostgreSQL. Guide and consult teams on PostgreSQL-related topics. Troubleshoot issues: performance, replication, blocking/deadlocks, connectivity, security, and integrity. Support development team on database-related tasks. Implement automated failover & monitoring to minimize downtime. Analyze database metrics and participate in capacity planning.
Proven SQL DBA with 5 years of experience.
Strong knowledge of MS SQL & SQL Server. Exposure to PostgreSQL migration & support. Experience with OLAP solutions.
