Heritage school Science Lab Technical Assistant

You will be a dedicated and responsible Science Lab Technical Assistant, supporting laboratory operations to maintain a safe and organized environment for students. Your role will involve assisting in the practical learning process within the science department. Your key responsibilities will include assisting in the daily operations of the science laboratory, maintaining lab cleanliness, equipment safety, and material inventory. You will support teachers during lab sessions with setup and demonstrations, ensure safety protocols are followed, and maintain records of lab materials, breakages, and consumables. Additionally, you will coordinate with vendors for equipment servicing and supplies, as well as assist in setting up models, charts, and displays for science exhibitions or events. To qualify for this position, you should have a minimum qualification of 10+2 with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology); a diploma/technical background is preferred. Prior experience in a science lab or school lab environment is a plus, although freshers are also encouraged to apply. Basic understanding of lab equipment, safety protocols, and chemical handling is required. You should be reliable, punctual, disciplined, and willing to live on campus. Interpersonal skills such as the ability to work as part of a team and take initiative during practical sessions are valuable.
