We are seeking a Sales/ Businesss Development Manager with expertise with commitment to delivering high-quality work. We are looking for a driven and technically inclined Sales / Business Development professional to expand HelioExpect’s presence across renewable energy markets. The role involves end-to-end ownership of the sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, working closely with technical and product teams. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Identify and develop new business opportunities with IPPs, developers, EPCs, utilities, and energy investors Own the complete sales cycle: lead qualification, product demos, proposals, negotiations, and closures Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets Build and manage a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools Client Engagement Conduct solution-oriented discussions to understand customer pain points Present HelioExpect’s monitoring, analytics, and forecasting solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders Act as the primary point of contact during pre-sales and early post-sales phases Market & Strategy Track market trends in solar, wind, storage, and hybrid renewable projects Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across HelioExpect’s product portfolio Provide market feedback to product and leadership teams Partnerships & Accounts Develop strategic partnerships with EPCs, OEMs, and consultants Manage key accounts and ensure long-term customer satisfaction Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Energy) or related field 1–5 years of sales or business development experience in renewable energy, SaaS, or energy analytics Strong understanding of solar/wind power plants, monitoring systems, or energy data platforms Proven ability to close enterprise or B2B deals • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Good-to-Have Experience selling software, data, or subscription-based solutions Exposure to international markets (APAC / Europe / Middle East) Familiarity with PPA structures, performance ratios, and energy KPIs Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.) What We Offer • Opportunity to work with a fast-growing CleanTech company • Exposure to cutting-edge renewable energy analytics solutions • Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives • High ownership, learning, and career growth opportunities We look forward to hearing from you!
