Role summary

You will own the delivery of every Grimbell client engagement, across sales and marketing, from kickoff to results. The full delivery team (sales, outreach, ads, content, design, web and automation) reports into you.

You set the plan, assign the work, track it daily and make sure clients get what we promised, on time. You are the client's senior point of contact for progress, reporting and escalations, and the team's go-to for priorities and unblocking.

Key responsibilities

Client delivery

• Own delivery for all active client engagements across sales, outreach, ads, content, design and web
• Turn each signed scope into a delivery plan with milestones, owners and deadlines
• Run client kickoffs, set expectations and agree success metrics up front
• Make sure every deliverable meets Grimbell's quality bar before it reaches the client

Team management

• Lead the full delivery team and manage day-to-day workload and capacity
• Run daily stand-ups: progress, blockers and priorities for the day
• Assign tasks, set deadlines and balance work across team members
• Track every task on the project board and follow up until it is closed
• Coach team members, give regular feedback and address performance issues early

KRAs and KPIs

• Define KRAs for every role in the delivery team
• Set KPIs per person and per client engagement, and review them weekly
• Run monthly performance reviews and feed into appraisals and hiring decisions

Client handling and escalations

• Act as the senior point of contact for clients on delivery
• Run weekly client review calls
• Handle escalations quickly: find the root cause, fix it and communicate clearly
• Spot upsell and renewal opportunities and pass them to the sales team

Reporting

• Send clients clear weekly and monthly performance reports
• Report delivery status, team utilisation and client health to the founders every week
• Flag at-risk accounts and delayed deliverables early, with a recovery plan

Strategy and process

• Shape sales and marketing strategy for each client with the team
• Build and improve delivery SOPs, templates and checklists
• Introduce tools and automation that cut turnaround time
• Plan hiring needs as the client base grows

Who we're looking for

Must-haves

• 5–8 years in a digital marketing or growth agency, with 2+ years managing delivery or accounts
• Has led a cross-functional team of 8+ people (marketing, sales, creative or tech)
• Strong grasp of B2B sales and marketing: outbound, performance ads, content, SEO and websites
• Confident with clients at founder and CXO level, including tough conversations
• Hands-on with project tools (Trello, Asana, ClickUp or similar) and reporting in Sheets or dashboards
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Willing to work from our Pune office, 6 days a week

Good to have

• Experience setting up KRA/KPI frameworks from scratch
• Exposure to international clients
• Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools
