You will be responsible for maintaining the approved suppliers list and ensuring compliance with the limitations imposed on suppliers. This includes planning purchasing activities based on the provided To-Do List and consulting with authorities while finalizing orders. You will also be in charge of communicating with suppliers regarding product or service requirements and obtaining acknowledgments against Purchase Orders to meet legal obligations. Additionally, you will oversee general purchases and be responsible for the implementation and compliance of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards. You will be responsible for preparing Valve Designs according to the specified plan and performing design calculations. Your role will involve modifying designs as necessary, developing parts and assemblies in 3D models, and creating drafting of 3D Models such as casting, proof, semifinish, and finish. Additionally, you will be required to generate bills of material, maintain documentation of assigned work orders, and create design change notes for any modifications or revisions in the drawings or BOM. As an individual responsible for reviewing project specifications and preparing deviations lists, you will be required to clarify any doubts related to technical specifications through conference calls with Impact partner/LBP and the WA factory. Your role will also involve sizing and selecting relief valves utilizing the proprietary PRV2SIZE software and reaching out to the WA factory for critical application solutions or special prices as necessary. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing Technical Quotes, technical deviations lists, and generating reports and drawings. You will actively participate in kickoff meetings, Technical Bid Evaluation meetings, and Customer meetings when needed. Your support will be crucial in handling project revisions from customers, assisting Impact partner/LBP post the issuance of Purchase Orders, and aiding in order entry. Furthermore, you will provide technical assistance for Bill of Materials (BOM)/factory clarifications and support with change orders while maintaining detailed records of all completed work. The basic qualifications for this role include a minimum requirement of an Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Chemical. Prior work experience is not mandatory for this position. You should possess the ability to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders involved in a project and have a fundamental understanding of valves and their operational principles.
