Job Description: Service Technician – Harley-Davidson Motorcycles Position: Service Technician Location: Harley-Davidson Bengaluru Dealership Overview: We are looking for a skilled Service Technician with hands-on experience in motorcycle maintenance and repair—preferably with previous exposure to Harley-Davidson or premium motorcycle brands. The ideal candidate should be technically strong, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering high-quality service that reflects the Harley-Davidson standard. Key Responsibilities:1. Motorcycle Diagnosis & Repair Perform accurate diagnosis of mechanical, electrical, and electronic concerns on Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Carry out repairs, adjustments, overhauls, and preventive maintenance as per company guidelines. Ensure proper use of tools, diagnostic equipment, and service manuals. 2. Scheduled Service & Maintenance Conduct periodic services and routine maintenance for Harley-Davidson motorcycles following factory-recommended procedures. Complete job cards, service checklists, and documentation with accuracy. 3. Technical Expertise & Quality Control Maintain high technical standards and follow Harley-Davidson service protocols. Conduct thorough quality checks before returning the motorcycle to the customer. Stay updated on model features, new technologies, and service bulletins. 4. Customer Interaction (as required) Explain service findings, recommended repairs, and technical details to customers when necessary in a clear, professional manner. Support the service team in ensuring a premium Harley-Davidson ownership experience. 5. Workshop Safety & Process Compliance Follow all workshop safety rules, tool control procedures, and housekeeping standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. Adhere to dealership SOPs and Harley-Davidson repair quality standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: Hands-on experience in motorcycle repair and maintenance (Harley-Davidson or premium brands preferred). Formal technical training such as ITI, Diploma in Automotive, or OEM-certified programs. Strong understanding of motorcycle mechanical and electrical systems. Ability to use diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and service software. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Passion for motorcycles and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
