Efforts Solutions IT is looking for a highly skilled Hardware & Network Engineer to lead the architecture, development, and implementation of an enterprise-grade AI-powered Agentic Lakehouse for a major enterprise initiative.

Job Summary

Efforts Solution PVT LTD is looking for a skilled and proactive Hardware & Networking Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of hands on experience in IT infrastructure management, computer hardware troubleshooting, network administration, and technical support.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Hardware Installation & Troubleshooting

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software-related issues.
• Perform hardware upgrades, replacements, and preventive maintenance.
• Manage IT asset inventory and maintain hardware documentation.

2. Network Administration & Support

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connections.
• Install and configure routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and internet-related issues.
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity problems.
• Support network cabling, patch panels, and structured cabling activities.

3. Windows & Server Administration

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Provide basic support for Windows Server environments.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Support Active Directory, Group Policy, and shared network resources.
• Perform system updates, security patches, and backup verification.

4. IT Support & Infrastructure Maintenance

• Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, email, and network issues.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft 365, and other business applications.
• Install and configure required software and development tools.
• Provide remote and on-site technical assistance.
• Maintain antivirus software, endpoint security, and firewall configurations.
• Coordinate with internet service providers and external IT vendors when required.

5. IT Security & Documentation

• Implement basic IT security policies and best practices.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues.
• Maintain documentation for IT assets, network configurations, and support activities.
• Assist with data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in hardware, networking, and IT technical support.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware installation and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, WAN, VLAN, and VPN.
• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points, and firewalls.
• Experience with Windows operating systems and basic Windows Server administration.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to troubleshoot network, hardware, and software issues independently.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS).
• Experience with Fortinet, Cisco, TP-Link, or similar networking devices.
• Familiarity with VMware, Hyper-V, or virtualization technologies.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft certifications will be an added advantage.
