Job Opportunity at Webyfy IoT – Hardware Designer

Webyfy IoT is a technology R&D company based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, focused on developing advanced IoT products and solutions. We are not an outsourcing firm — we design and build our own in-house platforms that drive innovation across industries.

• Supported by the Telecommunication Centres of Excellence (TCOE) under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and DST, Government of India
• Preparing to launch over 100 IoT applications and 300+ sensor-based solutions in 2025
• Collaborating with IISER on 6G research and establishing India’s largest IoT testing and protocol development facility at MITS Gwalior

Qualifications:

• BTech / MTech in CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, or related fields
• MSc in Computer Science / Electronics
• Diploma holders with strong project experience may also apply

Required Skills – Hardware Designer:

• Experience with KiCad or similar PCB design software
• Ability to create schematics, PCB layout, and Gerber files
• Proficiency in BOM (Bill of Materials) generation and component selection
• Understanding of analog/digital circuits
• Experience in hardware testing, debugging, and validation

Candidate Expectations:

• Hands-on experience in technical projects beyond the academic curriculum
• Strong interest in R&D and continuous learning
• Ability to work collaboratively with software and hardware teams

Key Responsibilities – Hardware Designer:

• Design circuit boards and develop embedded hardware for IoT devices
• Create schematics, layouts, Gerber files, and generate BOMs
• Collaborate with embedded software and R&D teams for integration
• Conduct hardware testing, debugging, and validation
• Ensure designs meet safety, cost, and manufacturability standards

Salary & Benefits:

• Starting Salary: ₹10,000 for the first month; ₹15,000 per month from the second month onwards
• Performance-based salary revisions aligned with or above industry standards
• Eligible for Employee Stock Options (ESOPs) with a projected value of up to ₹1 crore over 3–4 years
• No service bond required

Joining Date:

• Immediately after completion of final semester examinations
