The ideal candidate for these positions should come from a reputed travel agency background with immense knowledge and a minimum of 8 years of experience in MICE outbound. You will be responsible for handling tours for corporate groups and managing all MICE tours from start to finish. Building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients will be a key aspect of this role. Once a sale is closed, you will meet with clients and take over the project from the sales team. Supporting the sales team in preparing costings, drafting proposals with itineraries, and creating presentations will be part of your responsibilities. Researching new destinations and developing new itineraries will also be essential. You should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure prompt and accurate responses to client requirements. Supporting the sales team in providing seamless customer service support will be crucial. Briefing tour managers, ensuring all services are confirmed, and obtaining feedback reports from the tour manager regarding the groups they handle are important tasks. Coordinating with finance and accounts for project generation formalities, generating pre and post invoices, negotiating with hotels and DMCs, and minimizing damages on hotel or service cancellations to maximize revenue will be part of your duties. You will also provide inter-unit support for up-selling services and minimizing damages across business divisions. Analyzing pre and post-tour profitability, resolving contract-related issues internally and externally, and maintaining all contract-related documentation will be essential. You should possess excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record in contract negotiation. Experience in handling corporate MICE, FIT, group tours, or leisure groups is required. Generating operational reports for management, evaluating current operational strategies, and recommending improvements will be part of your responsibilities.
