Role Objective: To drive market penetration, lead brand positioning, and ensure sustainable business growth in the Chennai region by developing key client relationships, monitoring market dynamics, and executing strategic sales initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Business Development & Sales Identify and convert new business opportunities in the Chennai and surrounding markets Promote Laparoscopic Instruments and other key product verticals Ensure achievement of sales and profitability targets for the region Market Penetration & Strategy Develop and implement regional sales strategies to increase market share Collaborate with marketing to strengthen brand visibility and awareness Build and expand the Halsted brand in the assigned territory Leadership & Teamwork Lead and motivate internal and external sales teams (if applicable) Provide guidance to junior team members or field staff Represent the brand with professionalism. Customer Relationship & Receivables Build long-term relationships with hospitals, surgeons, bio-medical, and procurement teams Ensure timely collection of receivables and account settlements Market Intelligence Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activity, and new product launches Share live market insights with the central team to influence strategy Candidate Profile: 4+ years of experience in medical device / laparoscopic sales In-depth knowledge of the Chennai healthcare ecosystem Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills Ability to analyze market data and convert it into actionable strategies Strong focus on results, accountability, and ethical selling Why Join Halsted Healthcare?
