Job Profile: Fertility Consultant

Core Responsibilities:

• Diagnosis and Treatment: Assess and treat infertility in both men and women, managing ovulation disorders, hormonal issues, uterine and tubal factors, and male infertility.
• Experience in Fertility Treatments: Extensive practical experience in designing and managing treatment protocols involving ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), and assisted reproductive technologies (ART). This includes patient counseling, medication management, monitoring treatment cycles, and troubleshooting complex cases.
• USG (Ultrasonography) Experience: Proficient in performing and interpreting gynecological and reproductive ultrasonography (transvaginal and transabdominal USG). This skill is essential for Follicular Monitoring, Oocyte Retrieval, Embryo Transfer guidance, and diagnosing structural or anatomical abnormalities that affect fertility.
• Diagnostic Testing: Skilled in running and interpreting a range of fertility-related tests, including hormone panels, semen analysis, and diagnostic imaging.
• Patient Support: Guide and counsel patients throughout the emotional and physical journey of fertility treatment, providing support, education, and updates.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with embryologists, andrology/lab staff, nurses, and counselors to optimize each patient’s care.
• Documentation and Audit: Maintain detailed records of all procedures, cycle progress, and outcomes for audit, quality assurance, and legal compliance.
• Continuing Education: Stay updated on advancements and guidelines in reproductive medicine.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Medical degree with specialization in obstetrics/gynecology, reproductive endocrinology, or infertility.
• Substantial hands-on experience in fertility treatments and ART protocols.
• Demonstrated competence in reproductive USG for diagnostic and procedural purposes.
• Strong interpersonal, counseling, and problem-solving skills.
