Job Description

As an Agile Developer IV at our client, you will be responsible for the development, design, testing, and deployment of system functionality. Your specific duties will include: - Coding instructions for computer programs/objects/components in multiple applications - Configuring packaged software - Providing expertise in the solution design and functionality of business applications - Reviewing and validating application technical design of team members - Analyzing and evaluating existing manual and computerized systems/procedures - Researching and developing techniques for automation - Documenting and implementing programs according to installation standards and conventions - Analyzing the need for system backup, security, restart/recovery, balance controls, and recommending approaches - Identifying complex errors in application testing, troubleshooting, and executing root cause analysis In your role, you will design, develop, and implement enhancements to the Guidewire PolicyCenter application. You will collaborate with SME/Architects/Product Owners to translate requirements into Technical/Integration Design Document (IDD). Additionally, you will write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Gosu and Java, perform unit testing, integration testing, and production shakeout validation, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and provide ongoing support.
