As a Software Developer at ValueMomentum, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet customers" business needs and application requirements. You will be part of the Core Engineering team focusing on innovative solutions to transform the P&C insurance value chain. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain Guidewire EdgeAPI for seamless integration between Guidewire applications and external portals. - Extend data models, create GOSU components, plugins, handlers, annotations, and validations. - Work with front-end technologies like ReactJS and GW Jutro. - Customize and extend Guidewire APIs to meet specific business requirements. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Implement best practices for EdgeAPI and optimize performance. - Test, debug, and troubleshoot EdgeAPI functionality. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational data security policies. - Document EdgeAPI specifications and provide training/support to other development teams. - Stay updated with Guidewire updates, API enhancements, and industry trends. **Qualifications Required:** - 7.5+ years of experience in Guidewire development, specifically with EdgeAPI, ReactJS, and Jutro. - Ability to work independently on Personal/Commercial lines LOBs. - Strong expertise in Guidewire platform, including Gosu scripting, UI, Data Model, and ReactJS. - Proficiency in SQL, H2 databases, and SCM tools like GIT. - Knowledge of web services (SOAP/REST), XML, JSON. - Understanding of Guidewire core products and integration points. - Experience with Agile/Scrum projects. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
