Guidewire Policy Center - QA Engineer II

As a Quality Engineer II, you will be responsible for developing and executing detailed tests to ensure the high quality of Client's applications. This includes manually executing functional, integration, and acceptance tests with the assistance of existing automation. You will work closely with business analysts, developers, and other QE team members. You will participate in all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) to ensure thorough test coverage, including test documentation, execution, and defect tracking. Your role will involve performing manual functional testing on the Guidewire Insurance Suite, with a focus on PolicyCenter. Additionally, you will document and execute configuration, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing for application releases. Developing and executing manual end-to-end test cases, utilizing existing automation, will be part of your responsibilities. You will support testing activities throughout iterative development and release cycles and collaborate with analysts and developers to build comprehensive test suites that align with business needs. Creating and executing user acceptance test cases to confirm alignment with end-user requirements is also a key aspect of this role. You will need to adapt to a fast-paced, agile environment and help meet project deadlines effectively. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 4 years of experience in software testing with experience in testing web and API platforms. A strong understanding of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices is essential. Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), STLC, and agile practices is also required. Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills are important for this role. Being a self-starter who can work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team is highly valued. Experience in testing custom Guidewire v10 Policy Center implementation would be an advantage. This is a full-time position in the Information Technology & Services industry.,
