Job purpose As a Manager in the Technology Consulting team, your role involves leading various Guidewire implementation and Prototype development projects for our customers across the globe. Your client responsibilities You will work as a Manager (Technical leader) contributing to various streams of Guidewire implementation projects. This includes interfacing, collaborating, and communicating with onsite coordinators, planning and monitoring project deliverables, mentoring the project team, providing regular status reports to Program Managers and onsite coordinators, and interfacing with customer representatives as needed. Your people responsibilities In addition to client responsibilities, your people responsibilities include building a quality culture, managing performance for direct reports, fostering teamwork, leading by example, training and mentoring project resources, and participating in organization-wide people initiatives. Requirements (including experience, skills, and additional qualifications) Technical skills requirements - BE/BTech/MCA & MBA with 8-10 years of industry experience - Proficient in Guidewire PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter/BillingCenter Configuration and/or Guidewire Integration - Knowledge and experience in Personal Lines or Commercial Lines products - Proficiency in Java 8+, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT - Strong skills in Pl/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System - Knowledge and experience in Tomcat and/or Websphere/Weblogic - Real-time knowledge and experience in enterprise system integration, particularly in Insurance applications - Understanding and experience of software development best practices - Excellent business communication, leadership, client-facing, and project management skills Additional skills requirements - Experience in Guidewire implementations/upgrades - Experience in the Insurance domain in Property & Casualty - Prior client-facing experience Join EY to contribute to building a better working world, creating long-term value for clients, people, and society, and fostering trust in the capital markets.
