Role Overview: You will be working as a Software Engineer / Sr. Software Engineer in the Technology Consulting team at EY, contributing to various Guidewire engagements for customers globally. Your role will involve collaborating with team members to work on technical streams, interfacing with onsite coordinators, completing assigned tasks on time, and providing regular status reports to the lead. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute as a team member in various technical streams of Guidewire engagements - Interface and communicate with onsite coordinators - Complete assigned tasks on time and provide regular status reports to the lead Qualifications Required: - BE/BTech/MCA with 1.5 to 3 years of industry experience - Demonstrable knowledge and experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter/BillingCenter Configuration and Integration - Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance domain - Demonstrable knowledge and experience in either Personal Lines or Commercial Lines products - Proficiency in Java 5, JEE, XML, Web Services (Axis 2), SQL, ANT - Strong skills in Pl/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System - Familiarity with Tomcat and/or Websphere/Weblogic - Real-time knowledge and experience in enterprise system integration, preferably in the Insurance domain - Understanding and experience of software development best practices - Excellent business communication skills - Prior client-facing experience Company Details: EY is dedicated to building a better working world by creating long-term value for clients, people, and society, and fostering trust in the capital markets.
