Guidewire Automation Tester (GTUI Framework)

The ideal candidate for the position of Guidewire Automation Tester should have 4+ years of experience in QA Automation with a minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience using the GTUI (Guidewire Test UI) Automation Framework. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of Guidewire Suite applications such as PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter, along with proficiency in Java programming and Selenium WebDriver. Experience with TestNG, Maven/Gradle, Git, and Jenkins is required, as well as familiarity with REST API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured. Knowledge of insurance business processes in the P&C (Property and Casualty) domain is essential, along with experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies. The candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to excel in this role. As a Guidewire Automation Tester, your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using the GTUI Framework for Guidewire applications. You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA leads to understand functional and technical requirements, ensuring test coverage for end-to-end workflows across Guidewire modules. Additionally, you will create and maintain reusable test components and utilities for test automation, execute automated regression and smoke tests as part of CI/CD pipelines, and identify and document defects clearly for resolution. Participation in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives is expected, along with continuously enhancing the GTUI automation framework with best practices and reusable components. Providing guidance and mentorship to junior automation testers on the team will also be a key aspect of this role.
