As a Welding Procedures Developer, your primary responsibility will be to develop welding procedures for Carbon, alloy, stainless, and high tensile steels used in the manufacture of Boilers, Heat Exchangers, and Pressure Vessels in compliance with various national and international codes. Your role will require excellent grasping power and presentation skills to effectively communicate with customers and third parties, ensuring seamless synergy across all stakeholders. You must possess strong analytical skills to identify root causes in welding processes, with experience in GTAW automation considered an advantage. Familiarity with exotic materials and a range of steel types, such as P1 (C-steel), P3, P4, P5 (Cr-Mo steel), P6, P7, P8 (Martensitic, Ferritic, Austenitic steel), as well as materials like 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 321, 410, Inconel, Duplex, and Super Duplex is preferred. An in-depth knowledge of ASME codes and standards for Pressure Vessels and Boilers (ASME SEC I, SEC II, SEC V III, SEC IX, ASME B31.3) is essential. You should also be well-versed in Weld Plans, PQRs, WPSs, SWPs, Welding Repair procedures, heat treatment, consumables estimation, inventory management, and Non-Destructive Examination methods (LPE, MPE, UE, RE, etc.). Additionally, experience in Welder training, qualifications, and proficiency in various welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW, SAW, GMAW, ESSC, FCAW, Groove welding, and weld overlays will be beneficial for this role. Your ability to handle a diverse range of materials, processes, and standards will be critical in ensuring the quality and compliance of welding procedures in the fabrication of critical industrial equipment.,
