About the Role

Shri Radhe Enterprises manufactures MDF, wood and acrylic products, including corporate gifts, gift boxes, desk organisers, mandirs and decorative items. We are looking for a creative designer who can develop new products and prepare accurate, production-ready files for our CNC router and CO₂ laser machines.

Key Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Create original product designs using CorelDRAW and ArtCAM.

•⁠ ⁠Prepare 2D cutting and engraving files for MDF, wood and acrylic.

•⁠ ⁠Create CNC router designs, including 3D reliefs, carving patterns and suitable toolpaths.

•⁠ ⁠Convert sketches, reference images and customer requirements into accurate designs.

•⁠ ⁠Design box components, slots, joints and assembly layouts according to material thickness.

•⁠ ⁠Arrange parts efficiently on sheets to minimise material wastage.

•⁠ ⁠Check dimensions, closed vectors, duplicate lines and cutting/engraving layers before production.

•⁠ ⁠Coordinate with machine operators, test prototypes and revise files to improve fit, finish and assembly.

•⁠ ⁠Maintain organised design files and approved production versions.

Required Skills

•⁠ ⁠Strong working knowledge of CorelDRAW and ArtCAM.

•⁠ ⁠Practical understanding of CNC router and CO₂ laser design requirements.

•⁠ ⁠Knowledge of material thickness, cutting allowances, router bit sizes and machining depths.

•⁠ ⁠Ability to prepare and manage CDR, DXF, SVG and relevant CNC output files.

•⁠ ⁠Creative product-development skills, accuracy and attention to detail.

•⁠ ⁠AutoCAD knowledge will be an added advantage.

Preferred Background

Experience with MDF/acrylic products, corporate gifting, wooden handicrafts, signage, jali work, mandirs or CNC carving.

Candidates should be able to take a design from concept through prototype correction to a usable production file.

Selection Process

Portfolio review followed by a short practical design test. Please share photographs of manufactured products along with examples of your design work.
