Graphic Design - Intern

As a Graphic Design Intern at BOURGEOIS in Mumbai, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects spanning identity, digital, content, and campaigns. This role is hands-on, allowing you to contribute to live projects and grow as a designer through practical experience. You will be part of a studio atmosphere that values experimentation, challenges conventions, and encourages continuous improvement. Working closely with senior designers and strategists, you will gain valuable insights into how ideas are transformed into effective visual communication. Your responsibilities will include designing assets for branding, social content, editorial pieces, presentations, and websites. Additionally, you will apply design systems and brand guidelines to ensure consistency across various formats. Participation in internal reviews will provide you with exposure to real briefs and the application of design thinking. To be successful in this role, you should either have 1 year of graphic design experience or possess a strong academic portfolio in this field. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop is essential. Experience with AI tools like Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, or Runway, and ChatGPT for image generation is a plus. A solid understanding of layout, typography, and design fundamentals is required, along with the ability to adapt across different formats and a keen eye for visual detail. Any interest or skills in motion design and UI/UX would be advantageous.
