As a Junior Accountant at our company in CALICUT, your role will involve assisting in various accounting functions to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with company policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports. - Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. - Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes. - Conduct financial analysis and assist in budget preparation. - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. - Provide support for audits and internal controls. - Collaborate with team members on special projects as needed. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Previous internship or entry-level experience in accounting is a plus. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
