We are looking for a skilled and proactive Purchase Executive to manage end-to-end procurement activities within our sheet metal and fabrication environment. The ideal candidate should have strong material knowledge, vendor management capabilities, and hands-on experience in BOM-based purchasing for manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities: Handle procurement of engineering and production-related materials including MS/SS sheets, CR/HR/GI materials, plates, pipes, and fabricated components . Review and interpret Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure accurate and timely sourcing of items required for production. Manage full-cycle purchasing activities starting from RFQ issuance, quotation comparison, technical and commercial negotiation, purchase order creation, follow-ups, and GRN coordination with store and accounts teams. Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery. Coordinate closely with production, quality, stores, and design/engineering teams to ensure material availability as per project schedules. Maintain strong procurement documentation, vendor records, price lists, and purchase data. Ensure cost savings through market study, rate benchmarking, and alternative supplier development. Use ERP systems for PO generation, tracking, and procurement workflows. Prepare and maintain reports in Excel , including purchase tracking, vendor comparison statements, material planning sheets, and delivery status reports. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, quality standards, and timelines. Desired Candidate Profile: Experience in sheet metal, fabrication, engineering, or manufacturing industry. Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in ERP & MS Excel. Ability to handle multiple vendors, materials, and purchase requirements efficiently.
