GPU Power firmware development engineer- Sr Lead

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking Firmware Engineers to join the Engineering Group in the Hardware Engineering domain. As a Firmware Engineer, you will be responsible for developing GPU system level power and control firmware on ARM Cortex M3. Your main tasks will include owning firmware and specifications, developing GPU power and control sequences, collaborating with hardware designers on firmware and software design, and verifying, integrating, reviewing, and maintaining firmware source code. In this role, you will also be involved in validating and commercializing firmware in pre-silicon and post-silicon platforms such as DV, emulation, Windows, and Linux-Android. You will support test environment development, test plan creation, and firmware validation in pre-silicon platforms, as well as test and validation on post-silicon platforms. Additionally, you will be the primary point of contact for customer issues during commercialization. To be successful in this position, you should have experience in embedded system design, system architecture, hardware design, C/C++ coding/debug, and scripting. Familiarity with tools such as Lauterbach embedded system debug tools, Logic Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Oscilloscope is required. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in firmware development, hardware design, verification, debug, and support is necessary.
