Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
GCP Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer
with strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Windows Server Administration, and cloud migration projects.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience managing Windows Server environments and migrating workloads from on-premises Windows Server infrastructure to GCP, as well as handling migrations involving Microsoft Azure and GCP.
The candidate must possess strong infrastructure administration skills along with practical experience in planning, executing, and managing cloud migration activities.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and administer GCP cloud infrastructure and Windows Server environments.

Plan and execute infrastructure migration projects involving Windows Server, Azure, and GCP.

Perform migrations of Windows Server workloads (2012, 2016, and 2019) to GCP.

Handle migration activities involving Windows Server to Azure and subsequently to GCP.

Assess existing infrastructure and identify migration requirements, dependencies, and potential risks.

Configure, deploy, and maintain Windows Server workloads in cloud environments.

Troubleshoot Windows Server and cloud infrastructure-related issues.

Ensure infrastructure availability, security, performance, and operational stability.

Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to ensure smooth migration and transition activities.
Mandatory Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Extensive experience in Windows Server Administration / Wintel Administration.

Experience working with Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019.

Practical experience in cloud infrastructure migration projects.

Experience with Azure and GCP cloud environments.

Understanding of Windows workload migration from on-premises infrastructure to cloud platforms.
Candidate Requirements

10+ years of overall IT experience.

Strong experience in GCP Cloud Infrastructure and Windows/Wintel Administration.

Must have hands-on experience in migrating Windows Server workloads to GCP.

Experience with Azure-to-GCP or Windows-to-Azure-to-GCP migration projects will be an advantage.

Strong infrastructure troubleshooting and administration skills.

Should be comfortable working in the 3:30 PM 12:30 AM shift.
