Job Overview

CAGEN Technologies is hiring an experienced Go Engineer (Golang Developer) for the NEC Software UK project in Worli, Mumbai. We are looking for candidates with strong hands-on experience in Go programming, backend development, API development, cloud deployment, and relational databases.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable developing new applications, enhancing existing systems, and maintaining reliable, scalable, production-ready backend services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Go (Golang).
• Build, integrate, and deploy REST APIs and production-ready services.
• Develop new features and enhance existing applications.
• Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications on cloud platforms.
• Work with relational databases, SQL, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and production issue resolution.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience, with Go (Golang) as a primary programming language.
• Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining production-grade Go services.
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating APIs.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience deploying and operating applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of software testing, debugging, code reviews, and coding best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers.
• Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into applications.
• Familiarity with AI-powered applications and integrations.

• Current location: Mumbai only.
• Notice period: Immediate joiners only.
• Joining timeline: Must be available to join within 7 days.
• Relevant experience: Minimum 3 years in Go (Golang) development.
• Work location: Worli, Mumbai.
