Overview:

Medical Coding is the process of converting patient health information into alphanumeric codes. Coders interpret medical reports from doctors including the patient's condition, diagnosis, prescriptions, and procedures and translate them into standardized codes. These codes are essential for medical claims and healthcare documentation.
