Wouldn't advice to buy liquor for departures or outgoing. The service staff mentioned that I wouldn't face issues while transit, but I had issue while travelling through Qatar...liquids weren't allowed. Only liquor bought from their duty …

Chocolates are expensive. Even with their offer, they are more expensive, by 30-40%, than a normal supermarket abroad. The liquor variety has gone down significantly.
