Global Alliance Reporting - Senior Associate

As a Reporting & Analytics senior at EY, you will play a crucial role in the Reporting & Analytics Center of Excellence (COE) in Bangalore. Your expertise in financial reporting and proficiency in developing Power BI dashboards will be key in providing valuable insights to stakeholders for informed business decisions. Here is an overview of your responsibilities: - Have a strong understanding of financial concepts to analyze trends, variances, and business risks. - Handle complex ad hoc reports from stakeholders promptly. - Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends. - Build and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes. - Design and develop financial dashboards using Power BI to capture meaningful business insights. - Collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver high-quality reports and visualizations. - Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in reporting and analytics tools. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functions, formulas, Pivot tables, and Charts. - Experience with ETL processes through Power Query. - Strong expertise in developing and optimizing Power BI solutions. - Ability to build and edit SQL queries. - Proficiency in designing scalable data models. - Good knowledge of DAX calculations and multidimensional data modeling. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Science, or related fields. - 3 to 8 years of experience in financial reporting and hands-on experience as a Power BI developer. - Proven analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
