We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to expand our solar installation business. The ideal candidate will generate high-quality leads, build strong customer relationships, identify new market opportunities, and close sales for residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead Generation & Sales Identify potential customers through field visits, networking, referrals, and digital lead channels. Conduct cold calls, follow up on inquiries, and schedule site visits. Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solar solutions (kW capacity, panel types, inverters, financing options). 2. Client Relationship Management Build and maintain long-term relationships with residential and commercial clients. Provide clear explanations on solar benefits, ROI, subsidies, net-metering, and government policies. Coordinate with technical teams for feasibility assessments and project execution. 3. Market & Competitor Analysis Monitor local market trends, competitor pricing, and new solar technologies. Prepare periodic reports on sales performance, forecasts, and potential business opportunities. 4. Proposal & Documentation Prepare quotations, proposals, and project cost estimations. Assist customers with loan/financing applications if required. Ensure all documentation for installation, net-metering, and approvals is completed accurately. 5. Revenue Growth & Targets Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for solar rooftop and ground-mounted systems. Participate in marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and awareness drives. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred). Minimum 1–3 years of experience in sales; solar or renewable energy sales experience is an advantage. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to understand basic technical aspects of solar installation. Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Excel, and digital lead management. Self-motivated and target-focused with a field sales mindset.
