Wanted GIS Engineer for Preparation of Village Map (Land Acquisition )Expert At Kolkata (Asansol)

Experience: 3 to 5 Years

Job Description:

Land acquisition activities, including preparation of land plans and khasra details based on railway alignment data.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit village-wise land plans and landowner details as per the instructions of the Competent Authority for Land Acquisition (CALA) and Railway representatives.

• Use KML files and boundary coordinates of the proposed railway alignment to prepare accurate land plans.

• Prepare land plans that clearly show the proposed railway alignment and proposed boundary superimposed on village maps, with color-coded representation of private, government, and forest khasras.

• Include a tabulated summary of khasra details on each land plan.

• Submit all land plans and related data in soft copy formats.

• Assist state officials and railway representatives in the processing and submission of land plans.

• Draft and type official letters in Hindi, English, and local languages as needed.

• Work on land drawings and maps using AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and similar tools.

• Prepare khasra details, landowner information, and other land-related documentation in soft copy format for internal and official use.

Required Skills:

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in land acquisition for infrastructure or railway projects.

• Strong understanding of land plans, khasra records, and village maps.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and use of KML files.

• Familiarity with West Bengal land revenue records and acquisition procedures.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with local authorities and stakeholders.

• Ability to draft official correspondence in Hindi, English.
