GIS Engineer - Intern

You will be working as a GIS Engineer - Intern at Geosys Enterprise Solutions Pvt. Ltd., where your primary responsibilities will include using Desktop, Web, and Mobile applications for editing, maintaining, and analyzing geospatial datasets. It will be your duty to ensure the overall integrity, accuracy, and reliability of all data while preparing reports, dashboards, presentations, GIS datasets, Maps, database reports, and supporting various projects. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Geography, or Geology along with a Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering. Experience working with survey data in a CAD environment and in a production-oriented setting is advantageous. Proficiency in Land-use and Land-cover mapping and operational level experience in editing and maintaining spatial data in a GIS are also required. You are expected to possess strong interpersonal skills, adaptability to work effectively with customers and co-workers, and the ability to follow business process workflows for incorporating updates to Geospatial datasets. Additionally, you should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, experience in Image Classification using Digital and Visual Image Analysis, and familiarity with GIS tools like ESRI ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, GOOGLE EARTH, ERDAS, and QGIS. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule that may require travel for surveys. Good attention to detail for data maintenance and entry in a GIS database, as well as proficient written and oral communication skills in English and the National/Regional Language, are essential for this role.,
