Responsibilities: Develop digital all-over prints , engineered placements, borders, and motifs for apparel collections (mainly tops, dresses, coords, etc.). Translate mood boards and seasonal inspirations into print concepts. Work closely with the in-house design team to meet design and commercial objectives. Deliver print files in industry-ready formats (repeat/technical files, layered PSDs, colour-separated files). Stay updated with fashion trends, print forecasts, and fabric compatibility . Requirements: 7+ years of experience in textile print design (apparel-focused preferred). Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. The ideal candidate understands how to translate buying plans into store-level assortments that maximize sales, optimize inventory, and reflect each door’s unique customer profile. You will be responsible for ensuring the right product, right quantity, and right timing across 40–50 stores. Key Responsibilities 1. Assortment Planning & Distribution Build and execute seasonal and in-season allocation strategies across 40-50 doors. Determine store-specific product/category/price point mix based on door grading, historical performance, store size, and customer preferences. Allocate initial assortments and manage replenishment strategies to ensure optimal inventory levels per store. 2. Sales & Inventory Management Monitor weekly store performance to identify over/under-performing doors, highlight risks, and drive corrective actions. Track sell-through, stock cover, WOS, and category contribution to recommend timely reorders or pullbacks. Work closely with the warehouse/supply chain team to ensure timely dispatches and stock accuracy. 3. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Retail Operations to build cohesive assortment plans. Work with Store Managers and Area Sales Managers to gather qualitative feedback and validate product needs. Align product launches, capsules, and category stories that land consistently across stores. 4. In-Season Optimization Execute mid-season assortment changes, inter-store transfers, and size balancing where needed. Identify product gaps or opportunities by door/cluster and recommend action to the Buying & Planning team. Manage markdown and ageing inventory strategy at a store level. 5. Reporting & Analysis Prepare weekly and monthly MIS on store performance, category performance, and key merchandising KPIs. Provide insights to inform future buys and seasonal planning. Candidate Profile Experience: 4-6 years in retail merchandising, allocation, or planning within women apparel (preferred) or related retail categories. Skills & Competencies: Strong numerical and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel / merchandising systems. Ability to understand SKU-level nuances (sizes, fits, categories, price points). Commercial mindset with a solid grasp of store grading, assortment logic, and sell-through management.
