Job Title: Payroll Executive Location: H.O Bathinda, Punjab Reports To: HR Manager / Finance Manager / Payroll Manager Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: The Payroll Executive is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, statutory deductions such as EPF and ESI, and compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role requires strong attention to detail, a working knowledge of payroll systems, and up-to-date knowledge of statutory regulations. Key Responsibilities: Process end-to-end payroll for employees on a monthly basis. Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, incentives, bonuses, and deductions. Maintain and update employee payroll records in the system. Handle statutory compliance including: EPF (Employees’ Provident Fund) ESI (Employees’ State Insurance) Professional Tax (PT), Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), TDS File monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns as required. Prepare and submit challans for EPF, ESI, and other payroll-related remittances. Coordinate with the finance team for payroll disbursements. Generate salary slips and resolve employee payroll queries. Maintain confidentiality and ensure data protection at all times. Assist in audits and provide payroll-related data and reports. Keep updated with changes in labor laws and taxation related to payroll. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of EPF, ESI, PT, TDS , and other statutory deductions. Good knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, etc.). High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Time management and ability to meet strict deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Human Resources, or related field . 1–3 years of experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance. Certification in payroll or HR operations (optional but preferred). Preferred Experience: Experience working in a mid-sized or large organization . Prior experience with labour laws and statutory filings in India . Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹12,613.26 - ₹25,000.00 per month Benefits: Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location: In person
