Geospatial Analyst - Client Engagement & Product Feedback

Role Overview: GalaxEye Space is a deep-tech Space start-up focused on advancing space exploration by developing a constellation of miniaturized, multi-sensor SAR+EO satellites. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and preprocess multi-temporal EO SAR imagery - Interpret algorithm outputs and generate value-oriented deliverables - Document edge cases, false positives/negatives, and propose enhancements - Assist software engineers in tuning configuration parameters and validating metric improvements - Capture domain-specific requirements from client stakeholders and translate them into structured tickets - Provide training sessions and quick-reference guides for end-users Qualifications Required: - 2-3 years hands-on experience with remote-sensing analytics - Basic understanding of working and analyzing geospatial datasets - Proficiency in QGIS/ArcGIS, GDAL/Rasterio - Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders effectively - Basic familiarity with YAML/JSON configs, Git, and CLI toolchains - Strong documentation and presentation skills GalaxEye Space offers valuable opportunities for learning and development through close collaboration with the founding team.
