JOB PURPOSE The Business Development Executive will play a key role in driving Geokno’s growth by expanding its LiDAR-based survey and geospatial technology business across domestic and international markets. The position focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strategic client relationships, and supporting proposal and bid development to increase revenue in the company’s core service and product lines. This role bridges the gap between technical capabilities (such as LiDAR surveys, data processing, and digital mapping solutions) and market opportunities , ensuring that Geokno’s advanced geospatial solutions reach the right clients and sectors. 2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Sales & Business Development Identify and qualify leads through research, outreach, and networking. Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations and industries. Prepare and deliver tailored presentations, proposals, and demos. Support RFP / EOI / tender responses in coordination with cross-functional teams when needed. Track pipeline and ensure timely follow-ups for conversion. Revenue Target 2. Internal Coordination · Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical, operations, and finance. · Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in CRM systems and update opportunity stages. · Prepare periodic reports on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts. · Coordinate approvals, internal documentation, and pricing inputs. 3. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent; MBA preferred. 3 – 7 years of proven and successful B2B sales or business development experience. Proven track record in solution selling, account management, client management and growth. Experience in technology domains such as GIS, LiDAR, data processing, digital twins preferred but not mandatory. Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools Relevant and total years of Experience · 3 – 7 years of proven and successful B2B sales or business development experience. Preferably in GIS domain.
