Head of Supply Chain

The candidate must have a thorough understanding of the decorative paints and chemical industries, market demand patterns, seasonal fluctuations, dealer and distributor networks, product availability, and supply chain dynamics. The role requires close coordination with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless product availability, operational efficiency, and business growth.

• Procurement & Vendor management, vendor development and Identification of new vendor
• Production Planning & Manufacturing Coordination
• Inventory & Warehouse Management
• Logistics, Warehousing & Distribution
• Distribution network and Procurement
• ERP, SAP & Supply Chain Analytics

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of the

  decorative paints / chemical manufacturing industry

  .
• Expertise in demand forecasting, demand planning.
• Strong market intelligence and understanding of dealer/distributor demand.
• End-to-end supply chain and distribution network management.
• Procurement, vendor development, and strategic sourcing.
• Inventory optimization warehouse management
• Logistics, freight optimization, and warehousing.
• Production planning and capacity coordination.
• SAP ERP, advanced Excel, MIS, and data analytics.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 1015 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, preferably including leadership of multiple supply chain functions.
• Significant experience in

  decorative paints, industrial coatings, specialty chemicals, or chemical manufacturing

  .
• Experience in managing multi-location depots, warehousing, and pan-India distribution networks.
• Strong exposure to demand planning and supply chain alignment with Sales and Marketing.
• Experience in handling a large SKU portfolio, seasonal demand fluctuations, and inventory optimization.
• Proven ability to reduce logistics costs and improve service levels.
• Candidates from leading paint and chemical manufacturing organizations will be preferred.
