Key Responsibilities Teaching & Instruction Deliver lectures, laboratory sessions, and tutorials in physics (e.g., mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum physics, thermodynamics). Develop course materials such as syllabi, assignments, exams, and lab manuals. Use innovative teaching methods and technology-enhanced learning tools. Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects. Provide academic advising, mentoring, and support for students. Research & Scholarship Conduct original research in a physics subfield (e.g., condensed matter, astrophysics, optics, particle physics, computational physics). Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals. Apply for research grants and secure external funding. Present research at national/international conferences. Supervise undergraduate or graduate research projects (if applicable). Service & Administration Participate in departmental meetings, committees, curriculum development, and accreditation processes. Contribute to outreach activities, workshops, seminars, or public education events. Support laboratory setup, maintenance, and safety compliance. Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and institutional initiatives.
